The B.Sc. Animation & Gaming programme is a bachelor-level course focused on animation and multimedia, aimed at fostering innovation and creativity in filmmaking while developing professional skills in line with industry standards. Successful completion of this six-semester course equips candidates with proficiency in creating games and animations across various platforms, including mobile phones and PCs. Admission eligibility requires a minimum score of 50% in 10+2, along with qualifying exams such as LPUNEST, CUET, UCEED, or undergraduate NID DAT or NIFT B Design.

This programme offers advanced skill development in game design, game art, and game engine integration, with a focus on enhancing visualization and look development competencies to handle industry-standard projects effectively. The curriculum covers diverse topics including digital design, 2D and 3D animation, storyboarding, stop-motion animation, architectural visualization, and game design. Candidates are expected to have knowledge and skills in scriptwriting, storytelling, character design, 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, animation, rendering, and programming languages like C+, C#, and Visual Basic.

The program's infrastructure includes well-equipped labs furnished with Dell workstations and high-end software such as Adobe After Effects, Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Nuke, Fusion, ZBrush, and Photoshop. Additionally, resources like Black Magic Cinema Cameras, Canon Cameras, trolleys, jibs, and a specialised VFX studio with permanent Chroma backgrounds are provided.

One of the program's highlights is its impressive placement opportunities, with students securing positions in renowned companies such as Amazon, Green Gold Animation, Optmyzr, Technicolor, Pratilipi, Genymedium, among others. The highest recorded salary for placements was 34.24 LPA, while the average salary stood at 5.5 LPA.
