No the marks are not upto the mark.
yes many of college take students on basis of JEE mains.But some of colleges do take their own exam.so u can give that exams.

This may include few questions on Maths or Numerical ability. Remaining four papers are of Civil Engineering subjects two each subjective and comprehensive respectively.
