MCA is a more popular course. Candidates who wish to have a career in the field of software development can go for MCA programme. MCM is designed to enable the candidate take up managerial roles in IT industry.
Candidates who seek admission to MCA programs should have studied Mathematics in higher secondary education or Graduation. Meanwhile graduation is the minimum requirement for MCM.
Candidates who pursue MCM can complete the course within 2 years, whereas course duration for MCA is 3 years.
