IBPS Clerk provisional allotment is done based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. To prepare the provisional allotment list, the marks are normalised out of 100. The marks and cut off marks for provisional allotment are prepared out of 100. The process of provisional allotment is given below:

• The total marks allotted to the mains exam are 200. Marks are converted out of 100 for provisional allotment. Candidates should qualify in the online main exam and be sufficiently high in merit to be considered for the subsequent provisional allotment process
• On completion of the mains exam, depending on the state/UT-wise vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2023-24 based on the business needs of the participating banks, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating banks based on merit-cum-preference
• The provisional allotment is done on the basis of actual vacancies reported by the participating banks
• Candidates belonging to the reserved category, selected on the basis of norms as applicable to the General Category will be treated at par with a General category candidate. Such own merit candidates belonging to reserved categories who are provisionally allotted under unreserved (General) category will not be adjusted against a reserved post. However, their original category as registered in the online registration will remain unchanged
• The provisional allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling the criteria for participating bank and identity verification to the satisfaction of the allotted bank. This does not constitute an offer of employment. Verification of documents with regard to eligibility criteria is carried out by the participating bank
• The participating bank also ascertains Proficiency of the local language (reading, writing, and speaking) of the State/UT for the provisionally allotted candidates

Candidates who qualify the different stages of exam can check the IBPS Clerk scorecard by using the correct login credentials. Enter the registration number or roll number and Alpha Numeric Password (received at the time of application registration) or Date of Birth in the format (dd-mm-yy) at the required places to view the same. It is possible that there may be a technical issue with the website, or that you may have entered your login credentials incorrectly.
