A pre-study internship is a mandatory work placement students need to complete for entry to certain UG courses at HFT Stuttgart. It helps students gain hands-on professional experience and basic skills before studies begin.

The internship duration is usually between 2 to 3 months. It is to be completed before studies begin and after having received the university entrance qualification. The internship can be completed in any country.
