As you have got a decent rank you may target Colleges like: Jaipuria Institute of Management, Krishna Inst. of Engg. & Technology, College of Engg. & Technology, IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Galgotia's College of Engg. & Technology, J.S.S. Academy of Technical Education etc.

If you have time and if you can focus then you can choose a course which add value to the engineering stream you are in. For example if you are in Computer science then you can have soem practical training in hardware of computers. If you are in Civil engineering then perhaps you can study Architecture or may be get engaged in the services of a civil contractor to learn the practicalities of the job. If nothing else suits you then you can learn foreign language such as German (it might help you more if you have Mech engg) or French. You can also start working on a project of yours and start accumulating details regarding it.

Archana, if you are in a job or incase you cannot do MCA through regular mode of education then only go for distance education. For starters preference is given to candidates who do MCA through regular mode of education. If you have some work experience then perhaps MCA through distance mode is okay. And yes Sikkim-Manipal university has a good reputation.
