Kindly clarify what does "direct admission" mean? The eligibility criteria is that Indian national who has cleared 10+2 or equivalent in science stream is eligible. The applicant will also have to appear in JEE 2013 Main (Paper-1).

To pursue B.E. / B.Tech :
- You need to complete 12th with minimum 60% (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) from recognized board to join good college. However, they are colleges which take students who have scored 45% - 50%.
- You need to appear in entrance exam.
2)
Some of the colleges offering B.Tech in Chandigarh are :
-Lovely Professional University
-Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology
-Surya World Educational Research & Charitable Initiative
-Sachdeva Engineering College for Girls
-Maharishi Markandeshwar University
