Some percentage of seats (10% or 20%) in most of the MBA program are institute level seats and are offered on merit basis to open and other category students. Students meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for these seats after submitting an application individually to the college. Admission will be granted subject to availability and merit at the discretion of the Management. College might charge application fees for the Institute level seats will be the same as fixed by Shikshan Shulka Saimti for the given year. Candidates who had appeared for CAP rounds, but could not secure admission through earlier merit lists, can apply for Institute Level Seats. Other candidates who had not appeared for CAP may also apply with valid scores of national level test (CAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, CMAT) along with copies of relevant certificates but this rule changes from college to college.
All applications for Institute Level Seats must be received by the institute on or before the deadline date decided by the college. Applications may be sent through email or courier or submitted in person at the colleges. All candidates applying for Institute Level Seats might have to appear for GD/PI to be held at the college. To conduct GDPI or direct admission depends on college's discretion.
No amount have to be paid for ILS SEATS the fees would be same as Normal People but extra forms fees has to be paid.
Cutoff for ILS seats are 97.5% as per last year in SIESCOMS.

Dear student the highest placement of DIT UNIVERSITY for this year till now gone for PE Branch and the package was 16 Lakh and the company name is Mount Mero located at Tanzania. And the Second Highest placement package of 10 Lakhs for CSE Branch was given by Adobe Company.Whereas for ME the Highest Package was 7 Lakhs given by Hindustan Uni Lever and for ECE the Highest package was 7.5 Lakhs given by HP.So I hope after reading the placement record you can understand very well that how is placement in DIT Univeristy in today's time of recession.For DIT University Recession does not put any effect on its placement, because since 1998 DIT is famous as a good University so just because of its good placement records.

I would like to congrats you for your dream. Civil Service will lead you into the top most positions in government sector. Eligibility for appearing Civil Service Prilims Examination is Pass in Graduation in any stream. So Dont bothered about it. Take your favourite subject at Graduate Level. And Start prepartion for Preliminary exam now. Systematic studies will help you to clear Prelims.
As per new syllabus , Indian History, World History , Indian Constiution/ Leagal System, Imporatnt years of India, Currunt Affairs, Envoronnmental studies, Genral Knowledge, Basic English and Logics are the subjects of Preliminary Examination.
It is objective type of examination of 3 Hours Duartion. Negative Mark system is there.
If you pass the prelims, you can specialize in a subject. You have full freedom to select any subject from given subjects. Suppose you are a B Com graduate having interest in History, you can chose history as your elective subject. This is subjective examination and Essay writing also there.
The Final Stage is Personal Interview with Board Exicutives, you have option to attend interview in your regional language now. If interviewers are satisfied, you can give option / preferred services like IAS, IPS,IFS etc.
You will get as per your rank and interview performance.
