The normalization of marks in TANCET exam is done only for the engineering courses, admissions to PG engineering courses are based on the CEETA PG exam. No normalisation of marks is dow for MBA and MCA admissions. To call candidates for TANCET counselling, the examination authority will use the actual marks or percentile score.
Percentile score and actual marks varies as the marks are calculated based on the marking scheme, whereas the percentile score is calculates using the marks of test taker in comparison of other test takers.
Stay tuned to Shiksha for real-time updates on TANCET results and scorecard.
