UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur.
CSD (Centre for Studies in Design) is a department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K). CSD offers a four-year B.Tech program in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design.
To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design program at CSD, IIT Kanpur, the candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
Diploma holders from West Bengal are eligible for admission to the lateral entry B.Tech program offered by various colleges and universities. However, to apply for B.Tech in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design program at CSD, IIT Kanpur, the candidate needs to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
Additionally, clearing UCEED does not make a candidate eligible for admission to the B.Tech in Engineering Science with a specialization in Design program at CSD, IIT Kanpur. The candidate needs to appear for JEE Advanced and qualify for the same to be eligible for admission to the program.
Therefore, a diploma holder from West Bengal cannot apply for B.Tech in CSD after clearing UCEED. However, the candidate can consider applying for lateral entry B.Tech programs offered by other colleges and universities.

They have good table, a good library, canteen, Ground, classrooms, Fully air conditioned computer labs. They have good rooms, the food of the mess is also very fresh and tasty, their is the gym for hostel students. They conduct outings for them on monthly basis.
There are good teachers. A lot of extra curricular activities are organised weekly. Passing percentage is 33% but maximum percentage is 98%. They have NET qualified teachers. Teacher help students a lot for their overall development. Semester examination is not that difficult.Events are conducted on regular basis.
