The Center of Excellence in Space Sciences India (CESSI) is a Center of Excellence (CoE) financed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under the Government of India's Frontier Areas of Science and Technology Scheme (FAST). These CoEs are anticipated to provide postgraduate and doctoral programs that integrate a unique blend of basic and engineering sciences, allowing for the integration of fundamental knowledge while fostering research proficiency. To support fundamental and applied national research in space sciences, CESSI administers an MS programme to attract competent and motivated engineering (BE/BTech) students to scientific research. 

1. Grade Point Average (GPA): For each course, multiply the Grade Points earned for that course by the number of credit hours for that course. Add up the total Grade Points for all courses in a semester and divide by the total credit hours for those courses. This gives you the Semester GPA.

   Semester GPA = (Σ (GP * Credit Hours for each course) / Total Credit Hours

2. Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): To calculate the overall CGPA, follow a similar process. Add up the total Grade Points for all courses completed up to the current semester and divide by the total credit hours for those courses.

   CGPA = (Σ (GP * Credit Hours for all completed courses) / Total Credit Hours for all completed courses.

If a student fails internal exams at IISER Kolkata, the following procedures may be taken:

Academic Probation: The student's academic progress may be rigorously watched if they are placed on academic probation. They may be expected to satisfy specified academic performance targets during this time in order to continue their education.

Remedial Classes: The student may be asked to attend additional classes or workshops aimed to assist them improve in areas where they are having difficulty.

Exam Retakes: In some situations, the student may be given the opportunity to retake failed exams. This may provide them with an opportunity to demonstrate progress and pass the course.

Counseling and Support: To assist the student, academic counseling or support services may be provided.

Attend Classes: Attending classes on a regular basis is essential for grasping the course material. It also aids in the development of positive relationships with academics, which can be advantageous in the long run.

Participate Actively in Class Discussions: Actively participate in class discussions. Asking questions and sharing your ideas can help you gain a better comprehension of the subject while also demonstrating your interest to your teachers.

Join Clubs and organizations: IISER Kolkata has a number of clubs and organizations for students of various interests. Joining one of these groups is an excellent way to meet like-minded people, learn new skills, and enrich your college experience.

Make Friends: Make friends with your classmates. They can be a great source of information, notes, and study groups. Networking can also help you in your academic and professional endeavors.

You can't get direct admission into IISER on the basis of 10+2 marks. You have to apply for JEE which is conducted by IIT. You have to appear and qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced or IISER Aptitude Test (for INSPIRE Eligible Students) with good marks.

Those who have qualified KVPY can apply directly without appearing for JEE Main and Advanced. The candidates applying through state and central board have to give IISER aptitude test for admission into IISER.

There are various campuses of IISER in India at different place which is IISER Kolkata, IISER Mohali, IISER Trivandrum, IISER Bhopal and IISER Pune.

If you qualify with good marks then you will get admission into a 5-years BS-MS Dual Degree program. There are limited seats and you have to be really good to get admission in IISER.

The fees for Diploma in Anesthesia at Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh is INR 36,000 per year. The course duration is 3 years.
