Hi,
Students with B.A. Philosophy are eligible to apply for the M.A. programme.
In a few colleges, graduates from other streams can also apply. But still other steams will have to appear for interview on the dates declared by the Department of the respective universities.
You will be admitted only if you pass in the interview. It will be judged in the interview whether you have some background and genuine interest in Philosophy.
*Ideally you should go for M.E/M.TECH or MBA but if you have a passion for the Philosophy subject then you may go ahead.
Master's Programme in Philosophy aims at providing a comprehensive synthesis of various philosophical disciplines to develop a critical and analytical approach to all major areas of human inquiry.
After successful completion, you can either look for employment in-
Law
Teaching
Diplomacy
Public service
Publishing
Journalism
Ministry
Research
Insurance
Student Affairs
Or you may go for a doctorate degree in Philosophy for which minimum requirement is 55-60% in masters.

Hi,
To become a Scientist, you need to pass Science in 12th. You need to have strong Maths and Science. You need to strengthen your fundamentals as these will be required throughout career.
To be a professor at a University you need to pass graduate (B.Sc) and post graduation (M.Sc) in Science field. Further, you may go for doctorate degree which will take 4 to 7 years approximately. You do research for another two to three years until you find a job. While studying doctorate, you are also doing research (usually). That means you get to be a scientist-in training during that time.
