Hello Prayathna Royal,
Firstly, let me congratulate for selecting a quite interesting alias! Anyway. These days there are no free seats. You can think of seeking scholarship but then quantum and frequency are not known till last moment. Perhaps if management quota seats are not getting filled up they may offer you at very nominal fees.

There is no provision for 2nd year admission in NITs, IITs and CFTIs. While state government engineering colleges and private colleges offer B.Tech 2nd year admission through lateral entry entrance exam or through their own counselling process on the basis of marks obtained at Diploma engineering/ B.Sc level. Hence you first take admission in electrical engineering Diploma course or B.Sc for getting admission in B.Tech 2nd year.
