There are a total of 72 seats for MTech programmes of IIT Jammu. The highest number of seats are for MTech in Data Science and Information Security courses, i.e., 18 seats. Candidates are admitted to the PG courses based on GATE scores and educational qualifications. The seat allotment is carried out through COAP counselling. Further, it must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

JAM 2024 candidates' ranks will be based on their combined scores from the three sections (A, B, and C). The exam comprises 60 questions with a total score of 100 marks. Below is a table for the expected IIT JAM 2024 ranks corresponding to different score ranges.

Government Polytechnic, Ballia, located in Uttar Pradesh was established in 2014. The institute offers UG courses in Engineering and Design with specialisations including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Textile Design. After the 10th Diploma and UG Diploma are among the popular flagship courses.

Accordingly, a total of 49,778 candidates can be admitted to diploma-level courses in these institutions. While 44,139 seats are under the general category 9,881 are for the EWS group. "The seating capacity has been determined keeping in view the interest of students in the 2022-23 session," said a government spokesperson.

The admission to MTech at IIT Jammu is entrance-based. Candidates are required to appear for GATE exam and secure a good score. A cutoff list is then released to declare the minimum score required for selection. Candidates who meet the cutoff score become eligible for participation in COAP counselling. During counselling, the seat allotment process is carried out. The candidates who get a seat in IIT Jammu MTech courses shall report at the institute to submit important documents and pay the admission fee amount.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Patna fee is in between INR 9 lakh-INR 12. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Apart from the tuition fee, candidates also need to pay a one-time fee of INR 27,200 which includes a refundable security deposit and registration fee. For a detailed NIFT Patna BFTech fee structure, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of the institute. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology offers a four-year full-time BFTech course at the UG level. Candidates seeking admission to the BFTech course need to appear for an entrance examination comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates of the entrance examination are then required to appear for a Personal Interview (PI) round. 

The tuition fee for the course is around EUR 20,000 or INR 18.5 L. Apart from the tuition, students should also keep a monthly expense budget of around EUR 1,500 – EUR 1,700 or INR 1.3 L – 1.5 L.

The admission cycle for MTech commences at IIT Jammu with GATE registrations. Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has extended the GATE 2025 application submission date with extended fees. Aspirants shall ensure that they submit their forms on or before the prescribed deadline to become eligible to sit for the entrance examination.
