Hi, Well you come from good academic background and also hold professional experience too.
I would say that SAS is more about statistics and is a reporting tool/language. If you are not so mathematically, and statistically oriented, and would rather be doing jobs such as project management, business analyst, then go for SAP.
To add on I can suggest you a few companies currently hiring in SAS are GE,Genpact, Standard Chartered Bank, Fidelity, HSBC, HP, Accenture, WIPRO,TCS, IBM India, American, Express, WNS, Barclays,Tech Mahindra, HCL, Infosys, and many more. So it is certainly your choice which one you want to opt for.

You can take either TOEFL or IELTS, for studying in US.Universities in US accepts the scores of both the tests.
IELTS and TOEFL are the exams which need to be taken by all the international students whose first or native language is not English.So the student can take either TOEFL or IELTS.
Both IELTS and TOEFL has 4 section namely:
*Reading
*Writing
*Speaking
*Listening
TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) is of 120 marks, and all the good universities requires 80-90 plus score.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is of 9 bands, and all the good universities requires 6.5-7 bands plus score.
