Hi Sukanya,IFMR does not follow any cut off for any scores including competitive exams and degree exams. As a result they also don't release the minimum scores of students who are admitted last year.

I dont think you have scholarships based on percentiles.total fee is 7.75lakhs and hostel fee ranges from 35000 to 40000 per year without mess facility. placements are going in a good pace.

The Answer is No.
You Can't Complete the Cost Accountant degree in One year. If you are a graduate you have to complete the intermediate and then apply for the Final Course. You should complete your 6 month Training under a Cost Accountant or Registered Organization with Institute of Cost Accountant of India before Appearing for the Final Examination.
Hence it will not be possible for any one to complete the CMA course in One Year.

Before seeking admission in any institute, kindly check the below mentioned parameters such as affiliation, accreditation, fee structure, curriculum etc.
I can totally understand your dilemma in this case as I have been through the same.
Now, you need understand that there are two important things to consider while seeking admission.
(i) A branch of your choice but from a not so good institute = Not much value.
(ii) A not so demanding branch from a good institute= Not much value either.
However, if you are planning to take admission, it is always advisable to keep in mind the various parameters before selecting any institute.

ICFAI has many certificate courses in aspects such as treasury management, investment banking, portfolio management, risk and insurance management, public accounting etc. by correspondence (http://icfai.org ).
IGNOU and Annamalai Univ also offer courses in finance.
The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) offers Diploma in Banking and Finance which is open to all graduates (http://www.iibf.org.in/).

Many colleges do ask for 16 years of education before enrolling for MBA or any masters degree their respective university. But this is not the case with each and every university in US. Also even if they do you have an option of doing a bridge or a foundation program which leads you towards a bachelors degree at the university level.
