Candidates who want to pursue Masters degree programmes in science should have completed three-years Bachelor degree programme in a related stream from a recognised university.
Some universities specify a cutoff or minimum marks that one should have in graduation to be eligible for the M.Sc programmes they offer. Others might ask applicants to appear for entrance exams or interviews or both to prove their competence and knowledge in the subject area they choose.

National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts its entrance exam every year in paper-based mode as well as computer-based mode.
Eligibility:
Technology - Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) (B.FTech.)
The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
Or
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri- Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / International Baccalaureate (IB).
Or
Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Or
A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

As per their website,yes, the medical degree, awarded by the Smolensk State Medical Academy, is recognized in India. As per the year 2002 amendment of the Medical Council of India Act, any foreign medical degree (equivalent to MBBS in India) from any foreign medical institution, whose name and the degree awarded are enlisted in the World Directory of Medical Schools, published by the World Health Organization (WHO) is a recognized medical degree.The Smolensk State Medical Academy and degree awarded by it are enlisted in the World Directory Of Medical Schools, published by the World Health Organization and thus is recognized by the Medical Council of India.
The Smolensk State Medical Academy is included in the World Directory Of Medical Schools, published by the World Health Organisation and award degree, which is a recognised qualification for enrolment as medical practitioner in the country in which the institution, awarding the said qualification, is situated and thus is recognised by the Medical Council of India as per the MCI act stated above.
