In my time, i.e. 2014, people getting as much as 130, got mechanical. But please be on the safer side and aim for slightly more, as much as may be 140 because competition increases every year.

Looking at the past year's trend, the chances of getting a call from GIM at this CAT percentile seem to be low. Last year, the cut-off was 90 percentile, for CAT.

Dear Subbarao,
To pursue Executive MBA you need to have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Around 3-5 years of post-qualification managerial/professional work experience. The work experience criteria may differ from institute to institute.
- Other than this, depending on the institutes' requirements, you would have to clear the entrance exam, group discussion and personal interview rounds.
- Institutes like the IIMs require a valid GMAT score (taken within last 36 months of application date).
