As per your MAT score, your requisite percentile will be around 35 percentile to 45 percentile. The percentile is a very low score to confirm a seat in any institute. I would suggest that you should re-appear for the MAT exam and attempt it to the best of your capabilities to ensure the seat.

Have you started looking out for universities for your Ph.D? If not, start looking and contacting them. The university you plan to apply to must be currently working on the research area you are interested to work. Email the department heads or supervisors to find out.
