Hi Vidhya,
Event management involves planning, organizing and execution of live events, which could include a brand or products launch, an exhibition, a concert or even beauty and fashion pageants, cine awards, music award, etc.,
Event Management is an excellent field to make money. Even freelancers today earn anywhere between Rs.20, 000 and above today. If you prefer to deal with weddings and parties it may easily come around Rs. 30, 000 to 40,000 or even
more. As per your interest, I may suggest you for MBA Event Management course which can help you settle as an Event Coordinator as well as an Event Manager.

If you are good in studies and interested in commerce then do B.Com and if you are not or if you like hotel management then go for it. Moreover, B.Com is a universal degree, i.e. you can do whatever you want to do after B.Com. On the other hand, HM is the type of degree based on your creativity and skills and less based on studies and after proceeding in this field you will not have any option to change your field.
