Usually admissions to most of the engineering colleges are through entrance examinations. The eligibility for the same is mentioned below
For admission in a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. However, it is always advisable to get in touch with the institute to get the exact details about the admission procedure as admission process and eligibility vary from institute to institute. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for the course is 4 years.
