St. Xavier's University, Kolkata conducts its own entrance examination called the Xavier Law Entrance Test (XLET) for admission to its undergraduate law courses including B.Com LL.B. The university does not specify any specific aggregate percentage requirement for admission to the B.Com LL.B. Course. However, the admission to the course is based on the rank of the candidate in XLET and the availability of seats in the course. To be eligible for XLET, a candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates who are appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply, subject to the condition that they produce their passing Certificate at the time of admission. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for XLET by visiting the official website of St. Xavier's University and filling the application form online. The university will then conduct the entrance examination, and based on the rank of the candidates and the availability of seats, the university will announce the cut-off marks and prepare the merit list for admission to the course.
