You should try to get admission in a regular course if possible because BCA is mostly based on skills and with distance mode it will be difficult for you to grasp as it is your first step in this field. There are many good universities, which will offer you good exposure and also job opportunities after completion. Yes, it is a good decision. You need to score good in IELTS. I would suggest you to score 6.5 or above and write GRE also.
