• Go to the FutureLearn website

1. • Open your browser and visit FutureLearn.com. Then search for “Hospital Operations: Improving Patient Experience”.

   • Alternatively, you can search “Hospital Operations: Improving Patient Experience FutureLearn” on Google and follow the result from FutureLearn.

2. Create / Log in to your FutureLearn Account

   • If you don't already have an account, you'll need to sign up — typically with your email. If you have one, just log in.

   • Make sure you verify your email if required.

3. Find the Course Page & Click “Join Course”

   • On the course page, there should be a button like “Join course” (or “Start course”) — click that to enroll. On many FutureLearn courses, you can enroll for free (at least to access content).

   • If the course is currently available, you'll be able to start immediately (or on the next start date).

4. Choose whether to take Free Version or Upgrade (if you want Certificate)

   • Many FutureLearn courses allow you to “audit” (free access) or “upgrade” to pay and get a certificate. For this course, a “Certificate of Achievement” is available on successful completion.

   • If you want a certificate to add to your credentials, consider upgrading.

5. Complete the Coursework & Requirements

   • The course is self-paced (or runs on a set schedule) — complete the video lectures / readings / activities as per weekly requirements. According to sources, this course is about 2 weeks long, ~3 hours/week.

   • Finish all assignments / required steps to qualify for the certificate (if you upgraded).

6. Get Certificate (if opted for)

   • After successful completion, you'll get a digital certificate (if upgraded).

   • This certificate can often be downloaded or saved (PDF/digital).

There is no single “standard” MDS fee structure that applies to all “semi-government” dental colleges in India. It depends heavily on the state, quota (government / management / private / NRI), branch (clinical vs non-clinical), and whether the college is fully government, semi-government, private, or “self-financing.” What I can do is show you typical ranges from recent data, and what you should check when you assess a semi-govt or government-aided dental college's MDS fees.

From recent published fee schedules and college-lists:

• In some fully government/state-run dental colleges, MDS tuition fees remain quite low. For example: Government Dental College Thiruvananthapuram reports a total MDS fee of ≈ ₹1.56 Lacs for the entire 3-year MDS course.

• In another listing, “government dental colleges” are shown to have many MDS courses with annual fees under ₹1 Lacs or in the low-₹ Lacs bracket.

• According to a summary list for a state (in Kerala), the “government college” MDS fee is around ₹45,000 per year. 

Thus — for a genuinely government / low-fee public (or semi-government/state-aided) dental college, it's realistic to expect total course fees in the ballpark of ₹1–2 Lacs (overall 3-year program), or ₹30,000–₹70,000 per year, depending on the state.

That said — not all “semi-govt” or minority-aided colleges charge so little: such colleges might fall somewhere between fully government and private fees.

If you are looking for programs that cater to affordability and local recognition, you will want to consider an Indian university; if you prefer an international opportunity with more expansive networking opportunities, you will want to explore programs offered by providers outside of India. Always take into account the university's accreditation, placement assistance, and student testimonials when assessing which options are the best fit for you.
