Yes Krishna, Designers need to sketch well. And whatever anyone says this requirement would remain. To think freely and discuss new ideas you need to draw out your ideas in detail. And one more important thing, do consider designing as a career. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking pl

Hi Saurav
Getting admission in MBA or PGDM or PGP of any Indian Bschool will mandate you to take either of CAT, XAT or GMAT exams. There are other state level admission tests like CMAT in Maharashtra and MAT at an pan India level. Average salary depends on the Bschool you apply for and get final admission into. It is also a function of your background, your performance throughout Bschool curriculum and specially your performance in the interview process. Although it is true that people who have relevant work experience can get a tad higher salary than a fresher but that difference is not huge. To get a general feel of average salary of

Your acads seems decent. There is chance that you may get a call. But if u have a better score in any other exams like CAT or XAT then apply using that score. It is worth applying to SDMIMD. It is a premier institute with a great faculty and campus. The placements are really gud. The campus life is also gud. Check out the institute's website to learn more.

Hi Jeevan, my MAT score was 81 but my graduation score was a bit low as well. Around 50% I had applied to some Bschools in Bangalore and Hyderabad for personal reasons and not anywhere else. I made it through VJIM, Hyderabad for PGDM and opted for it. But I sailed through because I performed well in my PI and my MAT score saved me. Among other colleges I got offer from were: ABBS, IFIM, Alliance, etc.

Hi Diya, understanding your MAT score to be good, I believe you will sail through well in the shortlisting part of VJIM, Hyderabad as long as you do justice to the PI. I am a student there so naturally am biased about its quality and standard of management education but if I stand as an outsider, I will still recommend that if you are looking for options in Hyderabad, you can always consider VJIM.
You may check details about the Bschool here: https://www.shiksha.com/getListingDetail/475/institute/college-Vignana-Jyothi-Institute-Of-Management-Hyderabad-India?city=702&locality=648 or go stragiht to the website: www.vjim.edu.in

Hi Sukanya,
Only CMAT September 2014 scores are accepted for the 2015-17 admission. CMAT February scores are not accepted. There is no specific cut-off being followed in IFMR, due weight-age is given for school/college marks and work experience, considering your CMAT score alone there is a good chance that you will be called for interview if applied. I advice you to go on and apply at the earliest.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other query. Happy to help. If you find the answer helpful, select it as best answer or give it a thumbs up. Good Luck!
