Hello Arya Krishna Raghav, it's very nice to hear from you that you want to go ahead. However you have not clarified as to for what purpose. For further studies or for job. If for studies, I would like to advise you to approach an agency that is dealing with sending students abroad. This is so since criteria are entirely different. If you are going for job, then also you need to approach agency dealing with this issue. Best wishes to you.

Yes of course you can change the course in LPU from mechanical to CSE in 2nd year, Also you may change after a semester. But I will not recommend this as your one year would get wasted.

You should think carefully and decide which course you actually want to opt for. As switching of course depends on various factors regarding the course you are pursuing and the one want to switch with.

Programme transfer is easier if the new courses you wish to take overlaps with the one you're presently taking. Many people, for example, switch engineering streams after their first year, which is rather simple for them because both streams teach identical

Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune, LPU, and Chitkara, all 3 offer BTech in CSE. While, the course curriculum, placement statistics, industry exposure varies among Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune, LPU, and Chitkara University. Symbiosis Pune has good faculty and programs but is newer with limited outreach compared to LPU. Chitkara offers decent industry exposure but smaller brand presence. LPU provides strong infrastructure, diverse student community, research opportunities, and reputed recruiters. Candidates can choose the institute after drawing a comparison in terms of courses, fees, placements, etc.

The credited inputs syllabi are aligned with a variety of competitive exams, including GATE Bank-PO, UGC NET SSC UPSC and CSIR NET
