i think there is no other modes of admission for Mtech except GATE. yaa there is another way is there to take admission in MTech i.e u can take admission in state technical university affiliated colleges.for this purpose u need to appear an entrance exam. conducted every year by respective university/colleges etc.But if u have Gate score then u may got some scholarships from GoI. if not then u may not got ay stipend also u can't take admission in some renowned institute's like IIT's, NIT's, BIT's etc.
