Hi Madhurima, UPSC conducts civil services examination every year in the month of May and June and its main exam is in the month of December. The notification for this exam comes out in the month of January end.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1)A candidate should have a degree of graduation in any field from any recognized university.
2)A candidate in his final year is also eligible for the civil services exam. (IPS, IFS, IAS)
3)A candidate's age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.
4)A candidate must be an indian citizen.
5)Number of attempts:
*Four of general candidate
*Seven for OBC candidate
*No limit on attempts for SC/ST candidate.
To crack the exam, the preparation requires the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy. The preparation requires focused study rather than plain hard work.

Dear Yusuf, it is really appreciable that you are planning for Civil Diploma. Yes, it is possible to join any of the evening college to study in part time. Even there are many Study Centers offering Diploma in Distance mode. They are recognized by the Government for employment. Now a day it is easy to complete the course in distance mode. You have double advantages while completing the course- one that as you are in a job your experience will increase & second your qualification is upgraded side by side. Only thing is that please while taking the admission see that the course recognized by the UGC & DEC (Distance Education Council) that's it.
