APSET 2018 eligibility criteria which aspirants need to fulfill in order to be eligible to appear for the entrance exam is as mentioned below:
- Candidates should have secured minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Masters degree or equivalent exam from any university/college that is recognised by UGC. Aspirants belonging to reserved categories such as OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PwD are eligible to apply if they have secured minimum 50% aggregate in their Masters degree or equivalent exam. - Aspirants who are appearing for their Masters degree final year exam and whose exam result is awaited can also apply for APSET exam. But such aspirants will be offered provisional admission and they need to submit their exam result details at the time of admission. - Candidates who possess a Ph.D. degree and who have completed their Masters level examination by September 19, 1991 (irrespective of date when result is declared) will be eligible for 5% relaxation in aggregate marks (that is, from 55% to 50%) for appearing in APSET exam. https://www.shiksha.com/teaching-education/exams/apset.

B.Tech Aerospace Engineering Eligibility:
1. A 10+2 examination (Pre-University Board Examination) with physics, chemistry, and Mathematics that are recognized by any State Board / Central Board (with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks).
2. The student should have the fundamental knowledge of computers and programming. Candidate should have passed HSC (Std. XII) State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics are compulsory and optional subjects are Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology & Technical Vocational. Choose any one from the optional subject and secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of Backward Class candidates)
3.Diploma (any specialization) awarded by MSBTE or equivalent by any other Government body with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
