Hi,
The Final Merit score is calculated based on you 12th Board exam percentage and your NATA score.
Just divide your NATA score by 2 and add your board percentage (which is out of 100) and then divide the total by 2. That gives you your Final Merit score.
For example: If your 12th Board percentage is 80 and your NATA score is 120.
Then,
120/2 =60 (NATA score divided by 2)
60+80 = 140
140/2 = 70
Hence, 70 is your Final Merit score.

You have a good academic profile. 98 percentile on CAT will definitely enhance your chances of getting call from IIM-A. But IIMs calls based on students graduation field, academic/ work profile. To get calls from IIMs you must score atleast 98 percentile. Higher percentile will definitely enhance your chances of getting selected.

Hello,
More than the degree, it is the brand name of a college that matters more. Even though an MBA is more recognised, it's advisable to pursue it only from a reputed institute in India. https://www.shiksha.com/mba/ranking/top-mba-colleges-in-india/2-2-0-0-0
