DU JAT Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Delhi University administers the DU JAT 2019 exam and prescribes the eligibility of DU JAT 2019 as well. Aspiring candidates who wish to take admission in undergraduate management programmes at DUs affiliated institutes should check the DU JAT eligibility criteria 2019 before filling up the application form. As per the DU JAT 2019 eligibility criteria norms, a candidate who has completed the higher secondary education from a recognized board is eligible to apply and appear in DU JAT 2019. An aspiring test taker should obtain a minimum of 60 percent in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi. Every aspirant, in order to apply for the DU JAT 2019 exam must have qualified/cleared the board examinations, conducted by a recognized board. The Senior Secondary School Examination must be of CBSE or any other examination which is considered equivalent by the University of Delhi. Candidates who have appeared in the senior secondary examinations and are awaiting their results are eligible to apply as well. Aspirants belonging to the General Category should have an aggregate of minimum 60 percent in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi. List of subjects - Arabic, Bengali, Botany, Biology/ Biotechnology, Chemistry, Commerce/Business Studies, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics, English, French, Geography, Geology, German, Hindi Italian, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Persian, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Spanish, Statistics, Urdu, History, Political Science, Zoology, Home Science, Punjabi, and Accountancy. As per the eligibility criteria of DU JAT 2019, the minimum percentage requirement for the reserved category, namely SC, ST, CW, and PwD category candidates is 55 percent in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate.

The paper pattern is the same as that of last year. The paper contains 2 sections, one maths and one physics each containing 100 questions holding one mark for each question. So there is a total of 200 questions. Moreover, there is no negative marking. There is no chemistry (relief to some students). The difficulty of paper is average. Some questions are way too easy and some consume much time. Do not waste time much on a single question because you have 180 minutes for 200 questions i.e. less than a minute for a question. Syllabus is your +2 and +1 entire part. Things learnt by you in class 11th and 12th. Attempt all questions. Don't leave any question. Scoring 100 is easy but for CS/IT branches (demand is more), you need to score above 110.
