Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities all over the world.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. UofO is a high quality universities, ranked nationally in Canada as well as around the world.
So overall, it is a great university to study especially because the University along with Carleton has a strong Mechanical and Aerospace department. Depending on your profile, you may want to choose another university to apply, because for Engineering it is not the top 5-8 choices.
The top choices for Mechanical Engineering in Canada as per 2012 QS Subject ranking is as follows - McGill, UBC, Toronto, Waterloo, McMaster, Montreal, Alberta and Calgary.
