The cutoff of CAT 2018 refers to the minimum marks or percentile a test taker must obtain in order to qualify for the next round of selection process. It may as well as be dependent on what type of reservation you have and if you don't have reservations, you may as well forget the seat for MBA college. If you still have reservations, greater than 20K rank will not fetch any colleges at all. If you still want MBA seat in a good college, you may as well try writing some premium recognised exams and get a good percentile.
