Dear Student, It mostly depends on your choice and capability, I. e. , your LL.B. (Hons) and your Graduation Subjects. For instance, if A is a Commerce graduate, he/she would prefer Business/ Commercial Laws in his/her LL.B. Similarly, he/she would also prefer Commercial Law as specialisation for LL. M. Same is the case with a B.A. (Eco) Graduate. He/she would prefer Commercial Law for as specialisation more than any other subjects. Commercial law, also known as business law or corporate law, is the body of law that applies to the rights, relations, and conduct of persons and businesses engaged in commerce, merchandising trade, and sales. It is often considered to be a branch of civil law and deals with issues of both private law and public law. Commercial law includes within its compass such titles as principal and agent; carriage by land and sea; merchant shipping; guarantee; marine, fire, life, and accident insurance; bills of exchange, negotiable instruments, contracts and partnership. Dear Student, After getting Bachelor degree in law, one must enroll in State Bar Council where advocate wanted to practice. After State Bar Council registration, student has to apply for Test which is conducted half yearly for enrollment in Bar Council of India. Student has to gain minimum 40 % marks for qualifying and getting Certificate from Bar Council Of India. This Bar Council Test become mandatory for practice as an advocate after 2010.
