1. Fighter Pilot:
You can join Indian Air Force as a fighter pilot through four ways. NDA (National Defense Academy):
One can join NDA after completing +2 with Physics and Maths compulsory.
2. CDS Examination:
This exam also is conducted by UPSC for those who are in final year or completed their final year of graduation from a recognised university and Maths and Physics passed in +2.
3. AFCAT Entry:
This entry opens up for the applicants who completed their graduation from any recognised university or are in final year with Physics and math passed in +2.
4. NCC Special Entry:
NCC Special entry is applicable only for senior air wing 'C' Certificate holder. They are extempted from written exam and directly goes for SSB and medicals afterwards.
2. Commercial Pilot:
1. CPL (Commercial Pilot License):
You can do a CPL course just after completing 12th class with Maths and Physics passed with aggregate 55% at least.
2. Cadet Programs:
Till now only Indigo and JET airways airlines are providing the cadet programme. Through this cadet programme, after successfully completion of the programme, one will be directly get absorbed by the airline of which cadet programme you are doing with 100% placement.
