As per the Government of India directives, there is a reservation for the following groups:
Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Candidates: As per GoI requirements, 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates, respectively, in all the programmes.Persons With Disability (PWD): Three per cent seats are reserved in all the Master's Degree Programmes for PWD of which 1% each is reserved for persons with
- Low Vision/Blindness,- Hearing Impairment, and- Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy.Other Backward Classes (OBCs): Following GoI directives, 9% of the seats are be reserved for candidates from OBCs. This is the first phase of implementation of 27% reservation for OBCs.

It would be difficult to find many Institutes providing an M.Sc degree in Tourism and hotel Management. However, you can check with Manipal University, Amity University or the institutes coming under NCHMCT. To have the list of NCHMCT affiliated institutes please check the link below:

I would like to add here that do check the eligibility of M.Sc programme as it may require a three years diploma in Hotel Management or an equivalent.

hi chatterjee,welcome to shiksah.com and for m.b.a in distance for any university they can give u only assurance u have to get a job there itself and to be frank doing m.b.a in distance is not fair inur future of course what ever ur thinking is good but dont think for job from day 1 ,if u want to do m.b.a in a reputed institution u better go for it then job is based on ur caliber and ur strength and ur percentile ,experience field of specializations like many things like this like good communication,leader ship qualities.i think u know all these things so what im saying is check whether the institution is recognized or not and check the ranking and compare to other universities and main thing is placements for regular and distance students every university website has student profile so check that one and clear ur droughts.all the best

Film editing or Fashion designing course will not be a good choice if you want to pursue it for 3-6 months. As these courses are very much practical and need in depth knowledge.
But yes you can opt for a 6 months diploma course in Journalism. Journalism as a career is very challenging and requires a lot of hard work and patience. To become a good journalist you need to have a good command over English, Hindi and your regional language. Apart from good English you also have to be a good listener and an interpreter, so that you are able to convey exactly what is important for the people and how will it effect them. Usually admission in a good journalism college is done by an entrance exam conducted by the institute and the fees also depends upon institute to institute. So you can check the website of the respective institute of your choice to know about the admission procedure.
