Eligibility is The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The candidate must have minimum 3 years post qualification work experience in the executive, supervisory or managerial capacity in a medium or large organization.
Selection to the PTMBA Programme of NMIMS University will be based on a two stage process.
STAGE I:
1. Applicants will be short-listed on the basis of written Test ( Paper-pencil test)
2. Short listed candidates will have to appear for the Personal Interview
The selection will comprise of a personal interview. Candidates with sound work experience are encouraged to apply since emphasis will be given to the quality and nature of work experience.
The final list of selected candidates will be based on the over-all academic performance, Test & Personal interview.
Fees in 2010-11 First year – Rs. 1,51,000/- p.a.

As you are pursuing B.tech in mechanical engineering, it would be advisable for you to pursue MS in the same field as it will add on to your knowledge, of what all you will be learning at undergraduate level, apart from mechanical you can also pursue MS in the field of auto mobile engineering, aerospace engineering.
