Hi,
I would suggest you to speak to the officials at your respective college. If they do not allow, you need to start from scratch.
And in case they do, then make sure that you clear this time. I appreciate your patience. Would like to share a few tips:-
Preparation requires combination of smartness and hard work. Do the right things to gain an edge over your competition:
*Get the right books
*Start preparing well befor time
*Solve past year questions to test yourself on regular basis
*Cover the scoring sections early
*Cover the syllabus strategically. Don't go for a "prepare all" approach
*Balance all the papers
Good Luck.

U can choose embedded system line as well for this u must have sound knowledge of C, C++ and JAVA (complete).

Revise all subjects of 3rd to 6th semester, make notes, clear your basic fundamental concepts, study each and every bit of GATE syllabus, put in 6-8 hours per day from now on, solve old papers under time pressure. If you follow this schedule, there will not be any doubt of not scoring above 95 percentile.
