I am not very sure about this course in specific, but MA in English is offered by the aided morning shift of the college and is quite reasonable. The average fee should do between INR. 10,000- INR. 12000.

You can't change your stream in Masters, if you have done your B.Tech in mechanical, then you can only opt of mechanical in Masters. You have to opt for same branch, whatever you opted for B.Tech.
