More emphasis is given on your overall profile that includes SOP and extra-curriculars. It is good if you have around 80 percentile in CAT but there is no specified cut-off. Based on your profile you do have a chance. All the Best :)

Hi Pihu,
Faculty, Course Material, Quality Education, Fees, Accreditation, Infrastructure and Placements are the factors that define a good and reputed institute.
Consider the above parameters and then take a wise decision after thorough discussion with your peer group and family.
And for best results, I may suggest you to personally visit the institute and interact with the existing batches and also try reaching alumni for clear and transparent review.

Average package last year was 8.75 lakhs.
Refer to the placement report of last year- http://www.gim.ac.in/new/newpdfs/gimplacementreport2015.pdf
Graduation marks do count but not for every company.
And I really don't think that being a fresher has any major issue at the time of final placements.I mean if you got a good CV, it takes care of most of the things.
Talking about ROI,There is much more than just placements at GIM.Theres a lot of learning when it comes to academics and extra circular activities and also the opportunities you get here.
