Oceanography is the study of the deep sea and shallow coastal oceans.

4. Physics together make oceanography a richly interdisciplinary science.
Although they contain most of the Earth's water and carbon and surface heat, and much of its biomass, the oceans do not operate alone.
Together with the atmosphere continents and ice-cover, they form a working machine driven mostly by energy from the sun. Lesser amounts of energy derive from tides raised by the moon and sun and planets and heat from the Earth's interior.

You haven't mentioned your education background. But the SCM courses are generally offered at postgraduate degree and diploma levels. Such courses usually require you to have a Bachelor's degree in any stream (preferably in retail management/finance/B.E. /B. Tech/BBA) with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university. However, few institutes also offer part-time courses at diploma, certificate, postgraduate degree and post graduate diploma levels.
It is advisable to pursue a course in subjects pertaining to Logistics, such as CLP (Certified Logistics practitioner), Business logistics, supply chain management or transport management.

Popular amongst students these days, MBA in Retail Management deals with retail section such as producing goods and selling them at reasonable price to consumers. The process deals in designing of goods, delivery, selling, and post delivery services. The retail manager is required to take care of everything related to a product. It is his duty to produce a good, availability of the product, stocks in the market, human resource, etc.
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed MBA (ii) Your work experience(iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile. Thus one cannot allocate a figure. The salary band can range between Rs.3lakhs-Rs.8lakhs per annum.
