Admission Process:
Admission to classes 5 and 11 is granted solely based on merit as judged by the admission test. After the admission test, an interview round is also held, and the qualifying students get admission. For students in class 5, the admission form is distributed in November, while it's March-April for students in class 11. One can submit the form either online or offline. The selection process is given below:
Admission tests will be conducted in the first step. Then, students who will be selected for the admission test will be called to the concerned school for an interview. The merit list would be published both online and at the school in question. If your name is on the merit list, you can pay the admission fees and confirm your admission. Eligibility Criteria:
Students taking admission in class 5 must have scored at least 60 percent in Hindi or Bengali and 70 percent in Maths in their last annual examination. They should also be between 10 and 11 years old on January 1 of the year for which they are applying for admission. Students applying for admission to class 11 need to have at least 95 percent in the Science group and 75% in the language group. They should also be at least 16 years old on January 1 of the year in which they are applying for admission. Test Pattern:
Class 5 would have three papers: Hindi or Bengali, English and mathematics, each worth 50 points and with a time limit of 45 minutes. For class 11, the admission test will be 3 hours long and based on Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. The total marks are 150, and each subject will have 50 marks.
