Hello Anuj,It is indeed very nice to hear from you that you want to seek admission for Bachelor of engineering course via lateral admission after completion of your Diploma in Engineering. I must say that your aim is very good and I hope you achieve your aim next year. As per the rules in existence you can think of or rather you will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam conducted by DTU only next year and not in this year. These days the rules are changing so quickly that there is no point of knowing what would be the case next year, however I would advise you to study good for this and the next year in your Diploma with the aim of increasing your knowledge of the subject and not only towards passing marks in the examination. IIAE is surely not a run of the mill college. It follows a very typical and unique method. Firstly the admission procedure is telephonic interview based on which admission is granted. Secondly two years of the four years degree course are conducted in Dehradun in the college premises while the last two years the student is sent abroad for completion of a studies and a degree from the foreign universities with which institute has a tie up. Because of this it is not rated by different rating Agencies which rate different colleges in India. Hence if you are getting admission be careful to speak to different persons or probably the students who have gone through the whole process and then take a knowledgeable decision . The cutoff for B.Arch courses is about 50% of the total marks. Above70% and you can get a seat in one of the finest institutions in India offering B.Arch. For B.Arch at IITs the admission is based on JEE Advanced Rank and for admission in NITs, SPA, BIT Mesra, SMVDU the admission is based on JEE Main Paper 2 Rank.
As per the data of NTA, 69767 candidates registered for the paper 2 that is B.Arch/B. Planning of JEE Main 2019. On 7th April 2019, the examination was conducted across the various centers. JEE Main Cut Off 2019has been announced is that minimum score which is required to qualify JEE Main 2019.Cut off of JEE Main 2019is decided by NTA. It is different for General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD categories.
