Hello,Your overall profile seems to be pretty good. There is no surety about your chances of selection, but considering a decent GD-PI, you can expect getting selected. Though fill the forms of other colleges too as a backup, just to be safe. Good luck.

National testing agency would be declaring the all India rank based on the best of to principle, hopefully by the end of April and after that the students will come wi

Your son has got very good score. Your son stands a high chance in getting IIIT-Bangalore. Though, you should be aware that IIIT-Bangalore offer integrated M.Tech and not purely B.Tech which is B.Tech + M.Tech. You should also try for IIIT-Hyderabad which is top notch. Seeing the percentile, I hope your son should apply for the same also.
All the best.

If you have appeared for both Jan and April, best out of the two will be considered. This year however, Thapar has made two criterias available. 1) Based on your JEE score and 2) Based on your 12th class percentage (PCM OR PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 30% and 70% respectively. You can choose as per your suiting. The institute has just opened this application form.

Aeronautical and aerospace engineering are closely related fields, but they have distinct areas of focus. Aeronautical engineering primarily deals with the design, development, and maintenance of aircraft that operate within Earth's atmosphere, such as airplanes and helicopters. It emphasizes aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and structural analysis of airborne vehicles.
