The following strategy can be helpful in CAT preparation.
1. Reviewing the CAT syllabus: Review the outline of all 3 sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude and find mini mock tests / online tests that are able to target your weaknesses in each section. Do not ignore any section, there are sectional score weightage in the selection and continuously revise the weak topics.
2. Participate in mock tests: Practice online mock test and target to practice at least 25-30 Mock Test. Also, opt for sectional mock tests and Analyse the mock results and improve the mistakes. Solve the official mock test released by IIM.
3. Preparation methods are also important. If you are doing self-preparation, then you have to be vigilant about the latest updates, right books and material and manage their time accordingly. 4. Make a time table and spent at least 6-8 hours daily in preparation.
