You can join police services as an officer in the following ways. All these required graduations as eligibility. One is you go for a specific state's SI (sub-inspector) exam which a two-star officer and you will get promoted for inspector after 8-9 years depending on the cities. In a small city, it takes 7-8 years and in big cities, it takes 9-10 years. Second is you can go state PCS exam as well which will give you a chance to become class 1 officer (DSP), superior to an inspector. But, your promotion will not as fast as officer who cleared the UPSC IPS Exam will get. Third is that you can go for the IPS exam (UPSC civil services examination) which is conducted by UPSC. After successfully passing this exam post of Asst. Supdt of Police is the first rank, new entrant IPS officer gets. This is equivalent to DySP. After completion of dist training in the field, he gets posted as SDPO (sub-divisional police officer). Generally, on completion of one posting as SDPO/ASP, he gets posted as SP, in charge of one district. Forth you can for Central Excise Inspector post, for that you have to clear SSC Exam. Thanks.

Yes, it does matter, a college is a place where the students are able to explore themselves and tend to bring the best out of them. I had graduated from the PCTE Group of Institutes and at PCTE you don't only get exposure academically but you are able to enhance your personality by participating in N number of activities of your interest. I am not only a university position holder but have participated in the intercollege fest and have won prizes in Fashion Show and Canvas Making competition. However, it gave me confidence and made me believe that the sky has no limits. PCTE also has students studying from 42 nations and provides an environment which has a cultural mix, so you don't have to go out of the country to explore different cultures PCTE provides the same under one roof. Having said that the place where you get yourself graduate from define your personality to a major extent.

Both Finance and Business Analytics have equal importance in their own places. Business Analytics is the talk of the market these days and no doubt will continue to grab major market for next 15-20 years. Finance has limited applications as compared to Business Analytics cause of the reason it is domain specific. But Business Analytics has wide applications may it be IT sector, Operations or Management etc. When one studies business analytics, finance becomes an integral part of it cause without financial management no organisation can sustain. And without finance, Business Analytics is 25% incomplete. This ratio is meant alot so both the fields are highly correlated and incomplete without each other. While learning Business Analytics you will not only learn finance, but the essentials of finance and how smartly and effectively you can apply the finance techniques and strategies to make an organisation most profitable. Also, you will learn the other 75% which comprise of technicalities and issues faced by the companies, how to deal with them in a way better than others. So in my perception Business Analytics is an avenue with greater opportunities. Good luck!
