Hello,
You can join police services as an officer in the following ways. All these required graduations as eligibility. One is you go for a specific state's SI (sub-inspector) exam which a two-star officer and you will get promoted for inspector after 8-9 years depending on the cities. In a small city, it takes 7-8 years and in big cities, it takes 9-10 years. Both branches are good. In both of the branches you have more chances to get jobs in core fields, you have more chances to get jobs in government sector as well as private sector. Both are opposite branches. Mostly this depends on your interest you can choose either EEE or mech.
