It depends and changes year to year. IIMA calculates composite score for all candidates. CAT percentile is the major component of the composite score. However it also depends on your marks of class 10th, 12th and graduations. It also takes into account your masters score and work experience if any. Hence if you have really good 10th, 12th, and graduation score, you can expect call from IIMA even with slightly lower CAT percentile. To give you a representative figure, if you have an average academic record, you will need to score 99.7 percentile. With really good record, you can expect a call with 99.2 -99.5 percentile as well.

Yes, of course. Chandigarh University provides best quality of education and training program, so students can get placed easily. Chandigarh University is a good for B.Tech CSE but I must say it's not the best.
Doing B.Tech CSE from IITs, NITs, IIITs, DTU, Jadavpur University, etc. is the best.
You can take admission into this university if you don't have any other option.

Hi Akash,
For jobs in these sectors you need to clear competitive exams such as UPSC, SSC, SCRA and NDA. These exams can be taken after 12th. For most NDA exams 10+2 in science is required. I will advice you to check the respective websites for eligibility , jobs and notifications.

If you feel like studying 12th one more year, then you can repeat. If you don't want to, then don't. Whats your aim ahead? If you are going in commerce line, then you can move ahead.
