I hope you are doing well. Well, thanks for the interest in joining MVGR.
According to your EAMCET rank, you can get a seat in ECE through counselling if and only if, you are from either "ST" or “BC-E" castes. Otherwise it is impossible for you to get a seat through counselling. But give a try by placing the college in your priority list if seat is allotted for you, then cheers. Join MVGR or you can try for another branch. I hope this helped you. For any other query, please feel free to ask:
Last ranks for ECE according to 2017 EAMCET allotment are like this for boys:

If you want to take admission in any private medical college of Bangalore through management quota then there is no need to sit for COMEDK counselling. You can directly go to the college, pay the management fees and take admission in that college directly.

If you are looking for scope in jobs after engineering, then its definitely Mechanical and E&E as compared to Architecture. If I have to rank these streams based on job opportunities, then it would be like this :
1-Mechanical,
2- E&E,
3-Architecture.
It is very important to get a good college for mechanical, E&E or any stream you are interested to study. Top colleges provides much more opportunities and better placements. You can definitely guide him but let the final decision be his own.
I hope it helps.
