For General category students, 400 marks are usually a bit low because most government BAMS colleges have cut-offs around 450 or higher. With 450 marks in NEET under the OBC category, you have a decent chance of getting into an MBBS programme at a semi-government college in Maharashtra, especially under the 85% state quota. Semi-government colleges usually have lower cut-offs than top government colleges, and the OBC reservation works in your favor. However, competition remains tough, and cut-offs can change each year based on seat availability and how well candidates perform overall. You should monitor the counselling rounds, look into options like Mop-Up rounds, and consider colleges in less competitive areas of the state.
