So, I would recommend you to think on similar lines and decide as to what combination might work out the best for you. One thing I would strongly advise is not to make decisions based on emotions or attachments related to an institute, parents (with reference to staying near them) or friends. I know a few people who chose IIT just for the sake of being in IIT with no regards to the branch, when they had the option of getting a much better one at a lesser institute and they definitely regretted making that choice.
I would be glad to offer any insights about NITT in general and EEE, in particular if you ever feel the need.

Before applying for this post it is really necessary to check the eligibility criteria for this examination. A candidate must be 21-30 years of age while applying for Bank PO exam. Age relaxation of 5 years is given to candidates belonging to SC and ST. the candidates belonging to OBC categories are given an age relaxation of 3 years. The ex-servicemen and the candidates holding Jammu and Kashmir quota are also given an age relaxation of 5 years. Apart from this the minimum educational qualification of the candidate must be that of a graduate from a designated University. A candidate must also not hold any criminal record. Age Bar:- Different government jobs have different age limits (maximum) ranging from 24 to 40 years for general category, however SC, ST and ex-servicemen candidates can avail additional 5 years age relaxation and OBC candidates can avail 3 years while as widows, divorced women and judicially separated women can avail the age.
